I have recently been spending a lot of time studying the book of Ecclesiastes. It clearly outlines the thoughts of a king who had pursued many things in life to achieve fulfilment and was unable to do so. Ultimately, he ended up with the conclusion, “Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanities of vanities, all is vanity” (Eccl 1:2)The author of Ecclesiastes is not clearly identified, He simply referred to himself as “The Preacher”, although Chapter 1 verse 1 refers to the writer being “the son of David, King of Jerusalem”. For centuries, various Philosophers have studied and postulated theories about human behaviour. Comfort For The Grieving

The loss of a loved one can leave one numb, shocked and with many questions without answers.
Within the last one week, I have had my routine severely disturbed by the news of the death of two dear friends. These were not deaths, which occurred after periods of illness. They came suddenly and abruptly leaving shock, tears and mourning in their wake.
While we were reeling from the death of our friend and unborn baby, the news of the plane crash which occurred in Lagos, Nigeria yesterday, killing all 153 people on board, hit us. When the manifest of passengers was released, we found out one of our friends was on board the ill-fated flight and everything went dark again.
Many in Nigeria are struggling to come to term...
